School sailing from primary to higher education / Groups
FOR PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOLS
The "Yacht Club de La Grande Motte" sailing school welcomes you to its annexed base at Le Ponant: a haven of sea and greenery, ideal for discovering sailing in complete safety.
*The "fun levels":
Unique to the YCGM, the Fun Levels will accompany your students throughout their progression.
They will also be an opportunity to learn about the protection of the environment and marine animals in a playful way.
Finally, the skills grid that will be given to you will allow your students to do a self-assessment of their practice and acquired skills/knowledge in class.
*The "plus" of the YCGM: we are a partner of the CESTMED!
The Ponant base is located right next to the CESTMED sea turtle rehabilitation center.
From April to October, you will be able to observe with your students, in a natural environment, the sea turtles that have been cared for, stretching their fins before returning to the sea!
The educational project will be developed in collaboration with the teaching staff.
A file will be given to you before your sailing sessions to start "sailing in class"!
From secondary to higher education
The "Yacht Club de La Grande Motte" sailing school welcomes you to its sea base: equipment and material adapted to your projects.
The YCGM has everything you need to carry out your school projects: classrooms, a wide range of equipment, a large beach and a vast stretch of water.
From the paddle to the double dinghy, the catamaran or the Match Racing for the older ones, the YCGM will be able to adapt and build your sailing project with you.
